Summary
This study aimed to see if a medication called exenatide, which is approved for type 2 diabetes, could be safe and help reduce cravings for cocaine. It planned to test this in a small group of adults with long-term cocaine use by measuring their desire to use cocaine while taking the drug. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
