NCT ID NCT06212791

First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how the heart's left atrium works during exercise after a procedure called catheter ablation for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat). Researchers will use special MRI scans taken while people exercise to measure changes in heart function and exercise capacity. About 50 adults scheduled for ablation will be followed for 5-6 months after the procedure.
