New method could make Half-Matched stem cell transplants safer

Summary
This study is for people who need a stem cell transplant but don't have a perfectly matched donor. Instead, they can use a half-matched relative's stem cells. To lower the risk of a serious complication called graft-versus-host disease (where donor cells attack the patient), the donor stem cells are treated with a special device that removes the attack-causing T cells. The goal is to see if this method helps the new stem cells grow safely and reduces severe side effects.
