Summary
This study tested a more intense chemotherapy plan for people aged 2 to 50 with Ewing sarcoma that has spread to bones or bone marrow. The goal was to see if the stronger treatment could improve how long patients live without the cancer getting worse. 45 patients took part, and the approach included high-dose chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant.
