New combo therapy aims to beat tough bone cancer

Summary

This study looks at whether giving chemotherapy and radiation before surgery can help people with a high-risk type of bone cancer called Ewing sarcoma. About 55 people will get this treatment to see if it improves local control and survival. The goal is to make surgery more effective and reduce the chance of the cancer coming back.
