New chemo combo aims to beat ewing sarcoma

Summary

This study adds two chemotherapy drugs, irinotecan and temozolomide, to the standard treatment for people newly diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma. The goal is to see if this stronger combination can improve the chance of staying cancer-free. The trial includes 83 participants aged 1 to 40 with confirmed Ewing sarcoma that has not been treated before.
