New hope for advanced breast cancer: drug combo targets tough tumors

Summary
This study tests a new drug called evorpacept combined with standard treatments (trastuzumab and chemotherapy) in people with advanced HER2-positive breast cancer that has worsened after prior therapy. About 120 participants will receive the combination to see if it shrinks tumors. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it, as ongoing treatment is needed.
