First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study aims to understand how the size and angle of the eustachian tube (the small passage connecting the middle ear to the throat) relate to pressure inside the middle ear. Researchers will use CT scans to measure these features in 50 healthy volunteers aged 7 and older. The goal is to gather basic knowledge that may help explain ear infections and other ear problems in the future.
