Summary
This study compared two minimally invasive procedures to relieve stomach blockage caused by advanced cancer. 112 adults with severe nausea, vomiting, and inability to eat were randomly assigned to receive either an ultrasound-guided bypass or a stent placement. The goal was to see which method better prevents symptoms from returning and improves the ability to eat.
