NCT ID NCT06513195

First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests if a special ultrasound done through a scope (endoscopic ultrasound) can measure whether a common blood pressure pill (carvedilol) is working in people with liver scarring (cirrhosis). 24 adults will get the scope test before and after 3 months of treatment. The goal is to see if this less invasive method can replace the standard needle-in-the-neck test.
