New study tracks nerve block for pancreatitis pain

Summary

This study follows 35 adults with chronic pancreatitis who receive a nerve-block procedure (EUS-CPN) to ease their pain. Researchers will track pain levels and pain medication use weekly for 24 weeks after the procedure to see if it helps reduce pain and the need for painkillers.
