Europe launches major study to track deadly lung pressure crisis
NCT ID NCT06923917
Summary
This study aims to understand what happens to patients who experience a sudden, severe worsening of their pulmonary hypertension, a condition where high blood pressure in the lungs strains the heart. Researchers will track 200 patients across Europe who are hospitalized for this crisis, collecting information on their symptoms, treatments, and survival over one year. The goal is to identify which factors best predict outcomes and to see how care differs between countries, to help improve future treatment strategies.
