Summary

This study is testing a daily pill called etrasimod to see if it can help control the symptoms of moderate to severe ulcerative colitis in teenagers. It will involve about 36 participants aged 12 to 18 and will last for one year, with an option to continue for up to five years. The main goal is to see if the drug can put the disease into remission and is safe for long-term use in this younger age group.
