Listening to families and doctors on High-Tech brain scans for unresponsive patients

NCT ID NCT05010265

Summary

This study aims to understand the ethical concerns and gather opinions about new brain scan technologies (like MRI and EEG) used to detect hidden consciousness in patients with severe brain injuries. Researchers will interview patients, their families, doctors, and researchers to learn their views on using these tools to predict recovery. The goal is to develop responsible guidelines for how these technologies should be used in the future.
