Summary
This early-stage study tested a new oral vaccine (dmLT) to see if it is safe for people. The vaccine aims to protect against a type of E. coli that causes diarrhea, often called traveler's diarrhea. About 36 healthy adults aged 18-45 received one of four vaccine doses and were monitored for side effects and immune response over 8 months.
