Blood disorder evolution: scientists investigate why ET becomes PV

Summary
This study looks at people with a blood condition called essential thrombocythemia (ET) who later develop polycythemia vera (PV), a related disorder. Researchers want to find out what factors cause this change and whether these patients have different outcomes than those diagnosed with PV from the start. About 678 participants will be studied using medical records from multiple centers across Europe.
