Could estrogen levels explain why some pituitary tumors grow larger?
NCT ID NCT07268183
Summary
This study aims to understand if a woman's lifetime exposure to estrogen influences whether she develops a larger or smaller type of prolactinoma, a common pituitary tumor. Researchers will compare the medical and reproductive histories of 180 women who have already been diagnosed with either a large or small tumor. The goal is to gather knowledge about potential risk factors, not to test a new treatment.
