Study tests best way to kickstart puberty for girls with rare condition
NCT ID NCT07041814
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to help girls and young women with Turner syndrome begin puberty. It will compare two common estrogen treatments—a skin gel and an oral tablet—to see which one leads to better breast and uterine development and has fewer side effects. About 24 participants, aged 11-30 who haven't started puberty, will be randomly assigned to use one of the two treatments for 19 months.
