First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a special stent that releases estrogen to help the uterus heal after an induced abortion. About 200 women will receive either the estrogen-releasing stent or a plain stent. Researchers will measure uterine lining thickness, bleeding, and side effects over 90 days to see if the drug-loaded stent works better.
