Scientists probe Hormone's role in Women's rising heart risk
NCT ID NCT04255160
Summary
This study aims to understand how the hormone estradiol affects the health of blood vessels in women going through perimenopause. Researchers are enrolling 80 women to see if estradiol can improve how well blood vessels relax and function. The goal is to gather knowledge about why heart disease risk increases in women before menopause, not to provide a treatment.
