First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether sending helpful text messages to new parents for six weeks after birth can improve their confidence and reduce anxiety, depression, and stress. About 332 first-time parents in Nova Scotia will either receive the texts or not. Researchers will compare their well-being at six weeks and six months to see if the texts make a difference.
