First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a specific nerve block (called ESPB) can help control pain after surgery for a slipped disc in the lower back. The goal is to see if it reduces the need for strong painkillers, helps patients get moving sooner, and shortens their hospital stay. About 78 adults having single-level disc repair surgery are taking part.
