First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This small study looks at whether treating inflammation in the esophagus with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) can improve its ability to stretch and move. Ten adults with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) will have their esophagus flexibility measured before and after PPI treatment. The goal is to understand if reducing inflammation helps the esophagus work better.
