Summary
This study aims to see if a combination of chemotherapy and radiation can be as effective as major surgery for controlling a specific type of esophageal cancer. It is for patients whose tumors shrink significantly after initial drug treatment. The goal is to determine if this less invasive approach can preserve the esophagus while keeping the cancer under control.
