Blood test guides new cancer treatment strategy
NCT ID NCT06792786
Summary
This study is testing a combination treatment for advanced esophageal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Patients receive immunotherapy and chemotherapy first, followed by radiation with chemotherapy. Researchers will use regular blood tests to track tiny cancer DNA fragments, hoping this helps predict which patients benefit most and when the cancer might return.
