First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study followed 10 people who received an ESOP 2 hip stem to see how safe and effective it was over 10 years. Researchers checked survival of the implant, X-ray results, complications, and how well patients could move and feel pain. The study was stopped early, but it aimed to confirm the device works as intended in everyday use.
