Summary
This study looks at whether esomeprazole, a drug usually used for heartburn, can help improve social communication in young children with autism. Researchers will give the drug to 25 children aged 2 to 6 for 12 weeks and measure changes in social behavior using standard questionnaires. The goal is to see if this medicine can ease some core symptoms of autism.
