Study settles debate: which polyp removal method is best?
NCT ID NCT03962868
Summary
This study directly compared two common procedures for removing large, flat colon polyps. It aimed to find out which method is better at preventing the polyp from growing back and which is more cost-effective for the healthcare system. 360 patients with large polyps were randomly assigned to receive one of the two procedures and were followed for three years.
