First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compares two treatments for people who have had a heart stent placed: a high-intensity statin alone versus the same statin plus ezetimibe. The goal is to see if the combination therapy better prevents death, heart attacks, strokes, or the need for additional procedures. About 4,310 adults aged 19–85 who recently received a stent are being enrolled and followed for three years.
