Summary

This study looks at how two medications, escitalopram (a common antidepressant) and memantine (a drug used for Alzheimer's), affect memory and brain activity in people with major depression. About 30 adults aged 18-50 will take escitalopram plus either memantine or a placebo. Researchers will measure memory performance and depression severity using brain scans and rating scales.
