Scientists map hidden spread of esophageal cancer

Summary
This study looks at tissue samples from 30 people with esophageal cancer to see how far the cancer cells spread beyond what the surgeon can see. The goal is to better understand these hidden patterns so doctors can remove all the cancer during surgery. Participants are adults with stage T2-3 esophageal cancer who have already had their esophagus removed.
