Summary
This study tested a drug called eribulin, given with standard chemotherapy, before surgery for people with a rare and aggressive type of breast cancer called HER2-negative inflammatory breast cancer. The goal was to see if this combination could eliminate all signs of cancer in the breast and lymph nodes at the time of surgery. The study enrolled 22 participants and is now complete but still analyzing results.
