First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a daily ergothioneine supplement can raise the levels of this nutrient in the blood of people with kidney failure who are on dialysis. Dialysis removes waste but also lowers ergothioneine, a natural dietary compound. The study will enroll 28 participants and measure changes in blood levels over time.
