Summary
This study tests whether a numbing injection called an erector spinae plane block can lower the amount of morphine patients need after lumbar spinal fusion surgery. Researchers will compare morphine use over 72 hours in 130 adults receiving either the block or a placebo. The goal is to improve pain control while reducing opioid-related side effects.
