Summary
This study looks at whether a nerve block (erector spinae plane block) given before lumbar spinal fusion surgery can lower the amount of morphine needed for pain in the first three days after surgery. About 130 adults having this back surgery will take part. The goal is to see if this approach reduces pain and side effects like nausea.
