Summary
This study looks at how the drug erdosteine affects inflammation and oxidative stress in people with COPD. Researchers will compare 15 patients taking erdosteine plus standard care with 15 patients on standard care alone over 4 weeks. The goal is to understand the biological mechanisms behind erdosteine's clinical benefits.
