Digital recovery tool tested in heart bypass patients

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone-based platform using ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) guidelines can reduce hospital stay after coronary artery bypass grafting. About 480 adults undergoing first-time bypass surgery at hospitals in São Paulo, Brazil, will participate. The goal is to see if the digital tool improves recovery and lowers costs.
