Summary
This study tested a pain management plan for people having brain surgery. The plan included a scalp block and a sedative infusion to reduce headaches after surgery. 139 adults took part. The goal was to see if this approach lowers headache severity, cuts opioid use, and improves anxiety, depression, and sleep.
