Summary
This study is testing whether taking a supplement called equol, which comes from soy, for 12 weeks can improve blood vessel function in postmenopausal women with moderate chronic kidney disease. The goal is to see if this natural compound can help lower their high risk of heart disease. Researchers will compare the effects of equol to a placebo in 74 women.
