New Total-Body PET scanner could slash radiation for cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a new total-body PET scanner that may produce clearer images with less radiation. About 25 adults with cancer will get scanned on both the new and standard machines. The goal is to see if the new scanner works just as well or better, potentially making scans safer and faster.
