Summary
This study is testing a program called EPOCA that helps people recover at home after digestive surgery. It uses connected devices and a care team to monitor patients remotely. The goal is to see if this approach can safely shorten hospital stays and reduce the need to come back to the hospital. The study will include 250 adults having colorectal or bariatric surgery who are at risk for a long hospital stay or readmission.
