New app aims to give epilepsy patients a voice at the Doctor's office

NCT ID NCT05928598

Summary

This study is testing a tablet-based tool called the 'Epilepsy Visit Planner' to see if it helps patients communicate better with their doctors. About 150 adults with drug-resistant epilepsy will try the app in the waiting room before their appointment. Researchers will check if using the planner leads to better conversations, improved quality of life, and if patients and doctors find it easy and helpful to use.
