Brain boot camp: can Pre-Surgery training shield minds from epilepsy operation side effects?

NCT ID NCT05992402

Summary

This study is testing a new educational program for adults scheduled for epilepsy surgery. The goal is to see if this virtual training, given over 5-6 weeks before surgery, can help reduce the risk of memory or thinking problems after the operation or help patients cope if problems do occur. Researchers will compare people who get this special training to those who receive standard care to see if it improves quality of life and thinking skills.
