Summary
This study aims to understand how brain surgery for severe epilepsy affects patients' mental health and quality of life. Researchers will follow 180 adults with drug-resistant epilepsy who are eligible for surgery, tracking their mood, anxiety, and daily experiences over a year. The goal is to gather detailed information to help future patients by observing changes before and after the procedure, not by testing a new treatment.
