Hidden risk: study probes psychotic episodes after epilepsy hospital stays
NCT ID NCT07471334
Summary
This study aims to understand how often mild psychotic symptoms occur in people with epilepsy after they stay in the hospital for specialized brain monitoring. Researchers will follow 110 patients to see if these symptoms happen more frequently than severe episodes and to identify factors that might predict them. The goal is to improve early detection and care for psychiatric complications in epilepsy.
