Summary
This study aims to discover genetic factors that cause epilepsy, particularly severe forms that begin in childhood. Researchers will analyze DNA from 5,000 patients with epilepsy to identify genetic patterns. The findings could lead to better diagnosis and future treatments, but this study itself does not provide treatment.
