NCT ID NCT04526418

Summary

This study tested a small, implanted EEG device designed to record brain activity continuously for 12 weeks in people with epilepsy. The goal was to see if this new device could accurately detect seizures compared to the standard method of video-EEG monitoring in a hospital. The study involved 64 adults with seizures thought to start in the temporal lobe region of the brain.
