New brain device could stop seizures before they start

Summary

This study tests a new device that records brain activity in people with epilepsy that doesn't respond to medication. The device aims to detect unusual brain signals and deliver small electrical pulses to prevent seizures. In this early phase, researchers are checking if the device works well for recording, not yet for treatment. About 12 people will take part.
