First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using epidural anesthesia (numbing the lower chest) instead of general anesthesia (being fully asleep) can improve patient satisfaction and reduce complications during laparoscopic kidney removal. About 80 adults scheduled for this surgery will take part. The goal is to see if the epidural approach leads to a better recovery experience.
