First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study was designed to compare two methods of delivering an epidural patch using platelet-rich plasma to treat headaches from spontaneous intracranial hypotension (a spinal fluid leak). It aimed to see if a blind two-site patch was as good as a targeted patch. However, the trial was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
