New study aims to improve labor pain relief for moms
NCT ID NCT07395934
First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests two methods of giving epidural pain medicine during labor: a steady drip versus small, timed bursts. Both methods also let women press a button for extra pain relief when needed. The goal is to find which method controls pain better, uses less medicine, and keeps moms more comfortable. Sixty women having vaginal deliveries will take part.
